2024 Intersolar Europe exhibition held in Munich, driving innovation

In 2023, the German government intensified its efforts towards achieving a balanced share between large-scale power plants and roof-mounted solar systems. Notably, the large-scale ground-mounted segment saw a significant increase of 45 percent. This growth trajectory is expected to continue with the implementation of Solar Package I, aimed at reducing administrative hurdles in solar deployment. The objective is to sustain annual growth at 22 gigawatts peak starting from 2026.

The upcoming Intersolar Europe, scheduled from June 19–21, 2024, in Munich, is poised to showcase the latest advancements in large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants. As the foremost global exhibition for the solar industry, Intersolar Europe will be part of The smarter E Europe, the continent’s largest alliance of energy industry exhibitions. Anticipating over 3,000 exhibitors and more than 115,000 visitors from around the world, the event will span across 19 exhibition halls and an Outdoor Area.

For over three decades, Intersolar Europe has served as a premier platform for networking among industry leaders, highlighting cutting-edge trends, innovations, and business models under the theme “Connecting Solar Business”. The event at Messe München will underscore the dynamic growth and vitality of the solar market, reflecting ongoing advancements and strategic initiatives in the renewable energy sector.
