Bucharest University of Economic Studies has opened an Office of the Center of Excellence in Foreign Trade at the Academy of Economic Studies of the Republic of Moldova: “A strategic hub for expanding bilateral economic ties and promoting excellence in foreign trade.”

On Thursday, September 19, 2024, Bucharest University of Economic Studies inaugurated an Office of the Center of Excellence in Foreign Trade at the Academy of Economic Studies of the Republic of Moldova: “A strategic hub for expanding bilateral economic ties and promoting excellence in foreign trade.”

“The opening of the Chisinau Office of the Center of Excellence in Foreign Trade within Bucharest University of Economic Studies once again confirms the ever-deepening connection between the two sides of the Prut River. More importantly, we are now prepared to jointly address global challenges. The fact that the Chisinau office aims to become a strategic hub, with clear objectives such as expanding bilateral economic ties, promoting excellence in foreign trade, organizing professional training courses, and supporting innovation to enhance competitiveness in international trade, is highly significant,” stated Cristian-Leon Țurcanu, Romania’s Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, at the event.

The new office of the Center of Excellence in Foreign Trade, opened at the Academy of Economic Studies in Moldova, will serve as a strategic hub with clear objectives, including expanding the network of economic ties between the two countries, promoting excellence in foreign trade, facilitating professional development through courses and seminars, and supporting innovation to increase competitiveness in international trade.
