Cristina Gherasimov discuss with Estonia regarding development on Moldova’s European integration agenda

On February 19th, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with Gert Antsu, the Special Envoy for Eastern Partnership at Estonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Department for Ukraine, Moldova, and Southern Caucasus.

According to the government’s communication department, the officials deliberated on progress regarding Moldova’s European integration agenda and the subsequent actions required following the European Council’s momentous decision last December to initiate accession negotiations with Moldova.

„We are interested in deepening even more our good cooperation in the European integration field and in this respect, we rely on the vast experience and expertise of Estonia,’’ Deputy PM Cristina Gherasimov said.

At the same time, the official reaffirmed the authorities’ determination to implement the reforms needed, in order to advance in the European integration process.
