Prime Minister Dorin Recean at EU4Business: Connecting Companies: “The European Union helps us build a developed economy and a competitive business environment at home”

Prime Minister Dorin Recean participated in the closing conference of the “EU4Business: Connecting Companies” (EU4BCC) project. This project aims to expand and strengthen trade relations between the European Union, its member states, and the Eastern Partnership countries (EaP) – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, according to the Communication Department of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

The Prime Minister referenced the 160 local businesses in Moldova that have benefited from EU support, emphasizing that authorities will continue to develop a strong business environment, leveraging the opportunities created by collaboration with the EU.

“Our entrepreneurs are taking advantage of the benefits of the European single market: access to financing, over 450 million consumers, the elimination of tariffs and regulations, as well as high quality standards. These benefits help us build a developed economy at home, a competitive business environment, and more well-paying jobs. Our priority is to firmly continue on the path of European integration, building a prosperous future together,” said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The closing “EU4Business” conference was held in a hybrid format, gathering around one hundred participants and providing a summary of the program’s activities. The project, launched in December 2019, was co-financed by the European Union and implemented by Eurochambres.
