The Parliamentary Commission for Foreign Policy and European Integration approved the evaluation notice for the negotiation and ratification of the Agreement on financing between the Moldovan government and the European Commission for the EU4 Moldova Integration and Stability Program. As a result, Moldova will be granted financial assistance worth 31 million euros.
This program aims to support resilience and key reforms in Moldova, aligning with the Association Agenda 2021-2027 and the nation’s progress toward European Union accession. Of the total sum, 10 million euros will be allocated to enhancing national capacities to address security threats and migration challenges.
Additionally, 10 million euros will be directed toward the agricultural sector, while 11 million euros will be utilized to support reforms in areas such as public finance management, justice, competition, labor, and energy efficiency.
The assistance will be provided through various means including counseling, analysis, training, equipment provision, expertise, and grants. The agreement is set to be implemented over a period of 72 months.
