During the “King’s Hour” show on TVR 1 dedicated to Moldova’s Evening, Ion Ștefanovici, President of CAPDR, highlighted the role of the Romanian Royal House as a promoter of cultural identity aimed at developing economic relations between Moldova and Romania.
Ion Ștefanovici emphasized during the interview that Romania actively supports Moldova’s European path through a well-structured management plan and close collaboration between institutions in both countries, such as ministries in various fields.
“Romania, through its technical institutions, currently has a very good management plan for everything related to Moldova’s European path, on the one hand, but also well-targeted assistance for structures like the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Energy in Bucharest, mirroring those in Chișinău, working in a very harmonious synergy to overcome current and future challenges,” declared Ion Ștefanovici.

According to Ion Ștefanovici, this support is provided not only at a technical and administrative level but also through cultural and economic initiatives, where the Royal House plays an important role, acting as a bond that strengthens identity and cultural ties between the two nations. At the same time, the Royal House contributes to strengthening economic relations by facilitating contacts and networking opportunities, essential for the economic development of both countries.
“What the Royal House does acts as a bond in the area of culture and identity. The Royal House organized a specific economic event in Chișinău under its patronage. So, the element of cultural identity is complemented by the efforts of the Royal House, including in the economic area. Because, in the end, the economy is based on a sum of contacts, networking, social elements, and the interweaving and closeness of organizations, including economic ones,” stated the president of CAPDR.

The special edition of the “King’s Hour” show, broadcast on Saturday, August 3, was dedicated to the event Moldova’s Evening, which recently took place at Elisabeta Palace
Elisabeta Palace, the official residence of the Romanian Royal Family, hosted Moldova’s Evening in mid-June.
In its second edition, the event has established itself as an important royal tradition, bringing together Romanians from both sides of the Prut, foreign investors, and producers from Moldova, all with the aim of celebrating and strengthening cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
