Moldova Business Week 2025: 10 years of partnerships, over 30 events, and delegates from more than 25 countries, at Chișinău

Only a few days remain until the most important economic event in the Republic of Moldova – Moldova Business Week 2025, organized by the Investment Agency. The anniversary event will take place from September 15 to 19 in Chișinău and several regions of the country, bringing together delegates from over 20 countries across three continents, representatives of the business community, investors, government officials, and international organizations. With an agenda featuring more than 30 events, MBW25 promises to be the largest edition to date.

Under the slogan “Moldova is Open for Business”, the forum will be held both in the capital and in cities such as Orhei, Călărași, Cahul, Giurgiulești, Bălți, Strășeni, Ungheni, Comrat, and Tiraspol.

This year’s edition will focus on four strategic directions that define Moldova’s envisioned economic model:

• State Aid Scheme for Industrialization – a competitive instrument providing support of up to 60% for investments in six strategic sectors;

• Moldova IT Park – a unique regional model with a 7% tax regime guaranteed by law until 2035;

• Investments in Infrastructure and Renewable Energy – aimed at strengthening energy independence, EU integration, and the transition to green energy;

• Positioning Moldova as a Regional Logistics Hub – playing a key role in the context of Ukraine’s reconstruction through infrastructure, logistics, and construction materials production.

Event Agenda:

Day 1 – September 15, Chișinău

• Official opening ceremony under the slogan “Moldova is Open for Business”, highlighting the country’s progress in building a transparent, resilient, and investor-friendly economy.

• Presentation by S&P Global experts on Moldova’s position in the international economy.

• Success stories and best practices shared by companies such as PorcoBello, Bardar, Smile Dent, and Bolt.

• Launch announcement of the Moldova Stock Exchange, marking a new era for the capital market and access to financing.

• Speeches by Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova; Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization; and Natalia Bejan, General Director of the Invest Moldova Agency.

• Panel: “Republic of Moldova – Emerging Economy in the Region”.

• Presentation of the State Aid Scheme for Industrialization.

• Moldova Investment Map – premiere presentation of the digital platform highlighting attractive investment locations and strategic projects.

Day 2 – September 16, Chișinău

• Real Estate Forum – dedicated to the Moldovan real estate sector, gathering public authorities, development partners, foreign investors, and private sector representatives.

• Creative Capital for Growth and Investment – COR – Association of Creative Companies presents case studies, member projects, and innovative initiatives with export potential at Artcor.

• Study visit to Călărași to two leading fruit production companies: Codru ST and PDG Fruct.

• B2B meetings for the IT and business services sector at Moldova IT Park.

Day 3 – September 17, Chișinău

• International Forum: SME Development and Access to Foreign Markets – presenting internationalization and innovation opportunities for Moldovan SMEs through the Enterprise Europe Network.

The forum will emphasize investments in infrastructure and renewable energy, essential for strengthening the country’s energy independence, EU integration, and accelerating the transition to green energy.

Moldova is developing significant projects in infrastructure, transport, logistics, and construction materials production.
