Moldova’s government will help the farmers by establishing a system of agricultural chambers

An agricultural chamber system will be established in Moldova, which will support the development priorities of the agricultural sector and rural areas. According to the draft law adopted by the Government, this system will include two levels: regional agricultural chambers and the National Agricultural Chamber.

The aim of the project is to encourage the development of the agricultural community and promote the integration of new technologies, innovations, and best practices. Additionally, through the agricultural chambers, farmers will be able to collaborate to address specific issues and promote their interests before public authorities, institutions, and national and international organizations.

Furthermore, agricultural chambers will provide farmers with access to necessary resources and information, including training and financing programs, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences among members. A farmer will be able to be a member of only one regional agricultural chamber.

The law is expected to be approved by Parliament.
