Several Romanian senators will visit Chișinău between October 13th and 15th

A delegation from the Senate’s Foreign Policy Committee of Romania will visit Chișinău between October 13 and 15.

According to the Parliament’s Communication and Public Relations Department, the delegation will be led by the Committee’s President, Senator Titus Corlățean. The delegation will also include the Committee’s Vice President, Ion Marcel Vela, along with members Cristian Bordei, Ion Prioteasa, and Alfred-Laurențiu-Antonio Mihai.

The Romanian parliamentarians will hold meetings with Parliament President Igor Grosu, Ina Coșeru, the Chair of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Mihail Popșoi.

According to the same source, the discussions will focus on the progress made by the Republic of Moldova in its European integration process, as well as opportunities for cooperation with Romania to harmonize national legislation with EU regulations and to advance negotiations with the European Union.
