European Commissioner Marta Kos undertakes a working visit to Chișinău: Priorities and dialogue for Moldova’s economic development and European integration

European Commissioner Marta Kos will carry out a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on November 11, 2025, aimed at strengthening political dialogue and deepening economic and institutional cooperation between the European Union and Chișinău.

The visit’s agenda includes meetings with the Moldovan leadership as well as discussions with representatives of political parties in the new Parliament, established following the September 28, 2025, elections. The talks will focus on strategic priorities, economic reforms, and public policies designed to support sustainable growth, investments, and private sector development.

The conference will provide a framework for assessing Moldova’s progress in the EU accession process and for identifying priority actions for the future.

Commissioner Kos’s visit underscores the EU’s commitment to Moldova’s European path, as well as the need for close cooperation between national authorities and economic and social actors to support structural reforms, investment attractiveness, and macroeconomic stability.
