China’s Ambassador to Romania, Han Chunlin, attended the inauguration event of the Confucius Institute at the G.T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași

China’s Ambassador to Romania, Han Chunlin, participated in the inauguration event of the Confucius Institute at the UMF in Iași, which took place on April 25. Alongside him, Mrs. Luciana Antoci, the general school inspector of Iași County, was also present.

The Ambassador emphasized that the Confucius Institute is the result of a remarkable collaboration between the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași and the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan. He also highlighted the importance of cultural exchanges between Romanians and Chinese, mentioning that the institute serves as a platform for mutual learning between the two peoples.

China encourages the building of a community with a shared future, promoting dialogue, communication, teamwork, and common benefits, as well as win-win cooperation, exchanges, and ecological development. Additionally, it supports the construction of a better and cleaner world based on lasting peace, universal security, common prosperity, openness, and tolerance.

The Ambassador expressed his hope that the Confucius Institute will strengthen the friendship between the two peoples and further promote exchanges between the two countries.
