President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, DIED in a helicopter crash

Reuters and CNN report that Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, along with the Foreign Minister and other Iranian officials, have died in a helicopter crash

Iranian media has confirmed the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, aged 63, and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in a helicopter crash in the mountainous province of East Azerbaijan.

Press TV and semi-official news agencies Tasnim and Mehr have reported that all on board were killed.

Reuters also reported the death of the president, citing a high-ranking official.

“President Raisi, the foreign minister, and all passengers on the helicopter have died in the crash,” the official told Reuters.
