Romania had a significant presence at the largest foreign investment event in the United States, the SelectUSA Investment Summit, sending the second-largest delegation from the European Union. According to the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, the Romanian delegation consisted of 66 representatives from more than 36 companies, placing Romania second in the EU and eighth worldwide in terms of participation.
