“During the Big Fam Trip Moldova 2024 event, organized in partnership with the National Tourism Office of the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Moldova hosted a group of journalists and content creators from China, a strategically impactful initiative to promote the country in one of the largest global tourism markets.
The participants discovered Moldova’s main tourist attractions, including renowned wineries, picturesque landscapes, and the authentic traditions of our people. They were engaged in interactive experiences such as wine tastings in underground cellars, gastronomic demonstrations, and visits to emblematic sites like Orheiul Vechi and the cave monasteries.
The expected outcomes of this initiative include:
- Increasing Moldova’s visibility in the Chinese tourism market through the publication of articles, vlogs, and reports on popular platforms such as Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu.
- Attracting new Chinese tourists interested in authentic experiences and local products, such as award-winning wines and traditional cuisine.
- Developing partnerships with tourism operators in China to integrate Moldova into international tourist packages.
