Oleksandr PALARIEV, Director of Borodino-A LLC: „The A7 Highway will significantly contribute to the integration of Ukraine’s transport network with that of Europe”
Borodino-A LLC, under the leadership of Oleksandr Palariev, is a key player in the agribusiness sector in Ukraine
The construction of the A7 Highway offers new opportunities for expanding the company’s market coverage, improving logistics, and facilitating trade connections between Ukraine and Romania. This infrastructure project could significantly benefit businesses such as Borodino-A LLC by increasing access to European markets.
How do you see the impact of the A7 Highway on the development of Borodino-A LLC and the agribusiness sector in the region?
Although Borodino is located a considerable distance from the A7 Highway, this infrastructure is part of the broader European strategy for the development of TNT transport corridors, linking Ukraine to the European market.
For Borodino-A LLC and for the agribusiness sector in Ukraine, the A7 represents an important element in connecting Ukraine to these networks, offering us a strategic opportunity to access European markets through more efficient and modernized transport infrastructure.
The indirect impact on Borodino-A LLC is that the A7 opens new trade routes, facilitating transport to Central and Southern Europe. This will allow us to optimize our logistics flows and reduce the costs associated with exports to European markets, even though we are not directly connected to this highway.
What initiatives does Borodino-A LLC have to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the construction of the A7 Highway?
Given Borodino’s geographical position relative to the A7 Highway, our initiatives focus on collaborating with commercial and logistics partners operating in regions closer to this infrastructure.
Although we do not have specific plans at this moment, the completion of the A7 will give us the opportunity to increase export volumes by efficiently utilizing European transport corridors.
We will adapt our export strategy to capitalize on the newly created infrastructure, thereby improving access to European markets. An important part of this strategy will be identifying logistics partners who can facilitate our access to the A7 and other strategic corridors in the region.
How do you think the A7 Highway will contribute to attracting new investments and promoting business development in the agribusiness sector?
The A7 Highway, as part of the European TNT corridors, will significantly contribute to the integration of Ukraine’s transport network with that of Europe.
Although Borodino is not located near this highway, the enhanced connectivity between Ukraine and Europe will attract new investments to the agribusiness sector, particularly in regions closer to the strategic road infrastructure.
For Borodino-A LLC, this development means we will be able to use modern logistics facilities along the A7 route to transport our products to Europe more quickly and efficiently. Improved connectivity will reduce delivery times and costs, bringing significant benefits to export-oriented businesses, such as ours.
Do you have recommendations for maximizing the positive impact of the A7 Highway on cross-border trade and agribusiness development?
Although Borodino-A LLC is not directly connected to the A7 Highway, I believe that maximizing the impact of this infrastructure can be achieved by developing strategic logistics hubs at the Romania-Ukraine border.
Creating a logistics hub, or a “Dry Port,” near European transport corridors will allow companies from Ukraine, including those in the agribusiness sector, to optimize their transport flows.
These logistics hubs will facilitate the rapid transportation of agricultural products to Europe and support the post-war reconstruction process in Ukraine.
Collaborating with Romanian and European partners to develop this type of infrastructure would be an essential step in maximizing the benefits of the A7 Highway for cross-border trade.
