Regarding completed projects contributing to infrastructure improvement and attracting investors, here are a few examples:
- Rehabilitation of Industriilor Street, a project worth 26,965,335 lei, funded by the local budget and in partnership with Bacău County Council, which improved access to the industrial area, creating new development opportunities.
- Expansion of electrical distribution networks in the Calea Brașovului Street area (316,063 lei) and Calea Bacăului Street area (110,482 lei), done in partnership with Delgaz Grid, improving utility access for residents and real estate investors.
- Modernizing the infrastructure around Orizont – Casa de Cultură Square and Mercur Street, part of the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, included installing urban furniture, outdoor fitness equipment, LED street lighting, and more.
- Street lighting improvement, funded by the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, involved upgrading existing lighting and extending coverage.

Currently, many projects aimed at improving Onești’s local infrastructure are underway:
- Modernization of Calea Caraclaului Street, funded by the local budget and Bacău County Council (11,910,674 lei), will improve connectivity to neighboring localities.
- Modernization of Calea Adjudului (DN 11A), funded by the Anghel Saligny National Investment Program (39,076,119 lei), will improve connectivity to the southern regions of Romania.
- Establishing a natural gas distribution network in the Slobozia and Borzești neighborhoods through the Anghel Saligny Program (9,190,164 lei), ensuring basic utilities for residential and investor growth.
- Construction of two blocks for young people on Culturii Street (21,757,000 lei), funded through PNRR.
- Electric vehicle charging stations funded by PNRR (2,929,000 lei).
- Medium-sized nursery on Victor Babes Street, funded through PNRR (16,640,000 lei).
- Video surveillance system expansion for crime monitoring and prevention (2,907,000 lei) through PNRR.
- Facility renovation on Perchiului Street no. 3 (923,000 lei), thermally rehabilitating a sports facility for athletes.

With the help of Onești’s SC DPP SA, most local streets and parking lots were resurfaced and arranged. Several projects are in progress for educational, health, and cultural infrastructure:
- Acquisition of necessary school supplies funded by PNRR (9,260,000 lei) to provide new furniture and equipment to area schools, enhancing educational quality.
- A project to intervene in the buildings and outdoor spaces of the “Petru Poni” Technological High School (4,526,000 lei) through PNRR.
- Rehabilitation of Ghiță Mocanu Secondary School (12,418,353 lei) includes renovating buildings, sports fields, and purchasing new equipment.
- Rehabilitation of School No. 1 funded by the Regional Operational Program (11,448,722 lei), upgrading sports fields, and providing modern IT equipment.
- Acquisition of medical equipment for the “Sf. Ierarh Dr. Luca” hospital’s outpatient clinic funded by PNRR (6,019,000 lei).
- Library “Radu Rosetti” rehabilitation and equipment project included thermal upgrades, electrical system improvements, and high-tech equipment.
