The Leorda commune is investing 7.7 million lei in the development of an intelligent natural gas network

The administration of Leorda Commune in Botoșani County has launched a tender worth nearly 8 million RON for an ambitious project aimed at developing a smart natural gas distribution network

This project targets the modernization of energy infrastructure in the localities of Leorda, Belcea, Costinești, Dolina, and Mitoc, by enhancing safety and efficiency in network operations.

Leorda Commune in Botoșani County has announced a significant public tender for the design and execution of the works necessary for the development of a smart natural gas distribution network. The project aims to increase the level of flexibility, safety, and operational efficiency, as well as integrate transportation, distribution, and end-use activities in Leorda and the neighboring localities: Belcea, Costinești, Dolina, and Mitoc.

Smart Natural Gas Network: 7.3 km of pipelines and 300 SMART meters for Leorda

The estimated total value of the contract is 7,774,036.74 RON, with a completion deadline of 24 months from the date of contract signing. The tender was published on the SEAP platform on August 13, 2024, and the deadline for submitting offers is September 6, 2024, at 15:00.

Project Details

The main objective of the contract is to construct a natural gas distribution network with a total length of 7.287 km, equipped with 300 SMART measurement and transmission systems, including smart meters and a SCADA system. In addition to the physical execution of the network, the project includes comprehensive technical design services, technical assistance, and supervision by the designer, in accordance with all current legal and technical requirements.
