A8 Motorway: Documentation for the final segment of the mountain section has been submitted to ANAP

Documentation for the final segment of the mountain section has been submitted to ANAP, which will include overpasses and tunnels along 70% of the route. The National Company for Road Investments has sent, today, for validation to the National Agency for Public Procurement the necessary documentation for the design and execution of lot 2 B Grințieș-Pipirig (31.5 km), considered the most challenging segment of the “Unirii” Highway – A8, according to information provided on Friday by CNIR.

“This is a project of high technical complexity because it includes major construction works (tunnels, viaducts, bridges, and overpasses) and significant volumes of excavation and reinforcements,” explain CNIR representatives on Facebook.
