The installed capacity of these projects is estimated at a minimum of 2,000 MW in Romania and 1,000 MW outside its territory, within a maximum of 3 years, according to the same government sources.

It is worth mentioning that Masdar has shown interest in investments in Romania since 2022, after several meetings between the former Prime Minister, Nicolae Ciucă, and officials from the Emirates, both in Bucharest and Abu Dhabi.
