In an interview with the economic publication Moldova Invest, Valea Lupului’s Mayor Liviu Dulgheru provided details about this crucial project for the local community: the construction of a green school. This initiative marks a significant step in the sustainable development of the commune, addressing growing demographic needs and contributing to the well-being of its residents.
The Mayor explained that the need for this project arose due to a substantial increase in the young population of Valea Lupului. “We have observed a 13 percent increase in the number of students in the community,” the mayor emphasized, referring to the demographic expansion among children.
Regarding the project’s impact on the commune’s economic development, Mayor Liviu Dulgheru stated: “This project will have a significant impact, both in the medium and long term. Currently, we have only one school with 15 classrooms, but we aim to provide much more.”
The new school, which will be built to the most modern energy efficiency standards, will offer numerous benefits to the community. The mayor compared this investment to “a breath of fresh air” for Valea Lupului, highlighting the importance of expanding educational infrastructure in parallel with demographic growth.

By doing so, the benefits come naturally. People settle in the commune, contributing to the local budget and community development. The green school project in Valea Lupului includes the development of a facility with 19 classrooms, which will be divided between middle school and high school. The primary goal of this project is to improve educational conditions and accessibility for all students in the area, particularly for vulnerable groups.

- Technical Assistance from the Designer: Oversight of construction work and ongoing technical consultancy throughout the construction process.
- Construction Works: Actual construction, including all necessary building and installation work for the optimal functioning of the school.

- Environmental Protection and Land Restoration: 200,000 RON

- Design and Technical Assistance: 1,650,000 RON
- Construction and Installations: 34,900,000 RON
- Technological and Functional Equipment: 3,700,000 RON
- Site Organization: 50,000 RON
