Investment of over 4 million lei for the modernization of road infrastructure in Dumbrăveni Commune, Suceava County

Dumbrăveni Commune, Suceava County, will benefit from a major road infrastructure investment worth 4,173,207.57 lei (excluding VAT). The project aims to asphalt four local roads in the villages of Sălăgeni and Dumbrăveni, with a total length of 3,247 meters.

The contract, signed on September 19, 2025, provides for the asphalting of the following sections:

• Road no. 139 – 359 linear meters
• Road no. 141 – 521 linear meters and 530 linear meters (two separate segments)
• Road no. 142 – 1,470 linear meters
• Road no. 194 – 367 linear meters

In total, over 3.2 kilometers of local roads will be modernized according to European Union standards. The works will be carried out based on the technical project developed by the local authorities, with a focus on the durability of the infrastructure and its adaptation to the needs of the rural community.

The high value of the project – over 4 million lei – reflects not only the scale of the works but also the strategic importance of the investment for rural development. The funding aims to improve living and working conditions and retain the population in rural areas, in a context where migration to cities or abroad remains a pressing issue for communities in Suceava.
